I love discovering new local businesses, and this one came with a bonus: meeting the sweetest gal, Cacy Klumpp!

I recently found Goal Nutrition inside West Ridge Mall and if you’re someone who loves an energy drink that helps you feel fueled up and focused for the day, you’ll want to check them out!

Topeka, get those costumes ready! One of the community’s favorite fall traditions is coming back, and last year’s event was packed full of Halloween fun!

The City of Topeka’s 2026 Trunk or Treat is happening Thursday, October 29, from 5 to 8 PM at Evergy Plaza, 630 S. Kansas Avenue.

Expect decorated vehicles, plenty of treats, crafts, games, music, a car show, and a costume contest for all ages. This year’s theme is “Classic Costumes,” so think witches, mummies, werewolves, vampires, and all those timeless Halloween favorites. Of course, all family-friendly costumes are welcome!

Last year, the plaza was buzzing with families, fun, and even the firepit to help everyone stay warm while enjoying the evening. Grab the kids, invite your friends, and make plans to be part of the fun this year!

Mark your calendars now. We can’t wait to see what Topeka shows up wearing!

IT’S MOVIE NIGHT, TOPEKA — Friday Flicks at Evergy Plaza is back and we’re heading to Oz for Wicked: For Good!

Round up the family, pack your lawn chairs or blankets, and come settle in for a little movie magic under the fall sky.

And because movie night is always better with good food and treats, RG’s Sweeter and El Zocalo will be there serving up goodies and dinner.

A little magic, local food and a night under the stars. Sounds like a pretty wonderful Friday to us!
