We miss the volunteers who dedicated years to Vida. Some move to other towns, move on to other jobs or to a family life like the ex-president of Vida board, Bryn Aytes in this video.

On April 13, 2023, Executive Director, Consti Garay, and Board President, Bryn Aytes, appeared on WIBW's The Red Couch with Melissa Bruner.

They talked about VIDA's role in the Topeka Hispanic community and about our Annual Fundraiser, Soup with Mayor Padilla on Friday, April 21.

The fundraiser will be held at our current location. the Second Presbyterian Church at 210 NW Menninger Road in Topeka.

All are invited to attend. A minimum donation of $20 per person is suggested.

As the seasons change and the days grow longer, Daylight Saving Time reminds us that brighter evenings and warmer moments are just around the corner. Moving the clock ahead by one hour may seem small, but it brings more sunshine into our afternoons and more opportunities to enjoy life. It’s a gentle sign that spring is arriving with fresh energy, blooming flowers, and new beginnings. Don’t forget to set your clocks forward and welcome the extra daylight. Let this small shift in time remind us to slow down, appreciate the sunshine, and make the most of the beautiful moments each new day brings. 🌸⏰
