Thank You for Your Support at the Central Park Community Clean-Up Event!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported the Central Park Community Clean-Up Event! We are already gearing up for the 2026 Clean-Up, and this year’s event was a huge success thanks to over 150 volunteers who helped clean 7 streets, beautify Central Park, and collaborate with an amazing group of partners to celebrate our volunteers.

Our goal for next year is to double the impact, and we’d love for you to be part of it! Are you ready to make a difference? Save the date of Saturday, March 28th from 9am-1pm. Let us know if you’re ready to jump in—we can’t wait to serve alongside you again!

This week at the Emerge Community Business Academy, our participants took part in Game Simulation #2, a hands-on and dynamic way to put their growing business knowledge to the test!

During this simulation, our entrepreneurs were challenged to make strategic decisions in a simulated business environment, building on what they learned from the first simulation. They tackled real-world scenarios, practiced financial management, and explored the impact of their choices on business performance.

We’re so proud of the hard work and dedication shown by our participants. Each week, they continue to grow their entrepreneurial mindset and enhance their practical skills! 🚀

YMDG Youth Mentoring: Girls - Event Recap

What an incredible afternoon we had at YMDG Youth Mentoring this past Sunday! A huge thank you to Dr. Jennifer Rodgers Gordon, retired Elementary School Principal from Topeka Public Schools, for leading such a powerful and inspiring session.

The young ladies in attendance spent the afternoon exploring their strengths through poetry and journaling, unlocking new insights about themselves, and learning the valuable skill of goal setting to help guide them toward their full potential.

It was an afternoon of growth, empowerment, and connection. We are so grateful to everyone who joined us and made this event such a success!

Celebrating Community and Collaboration:
A Heartfelt Thank You from Omni Circle

Yesterday, the community came together at Central Park Community Center in an incredible way for our Central Park Community Cleanup event, and we couldn’t be more grateful for everyone’s support. This event was about coming together and joining hands with neighbors, friends, and partners to beautify and uplift an amazing space that so many people share.

We were truly moved by the overwhelming turnout, filled with community members and partners who showed up. Your presence, energy, and commitment made a lasting impact, and it’s clear that this community is filled with resilient, passionate people who care deeply about the Historic Central Park Community.

A special thank you to all the volunteers who generously gave their time and effort. Your hard work demonstrated the spirit of togetherness and the power of collective action. We also want to extend our deepest gratitude to the collaborative partners who joined us, showing that when we come together, amazing things happen. Your contributions helped make this event a success, and we are truly thankful.

This cleanup wasn’t just about removing debris or planting flowers; it was about creating a more enjoyable, welcoming environment for everyone. Thank you, Central Park, for reminding us that when we work together, we can achieve beautiful things.
