Are you new here? Welcome! We are a small group of lifelong volunteers committed to serving our friends in Haiti.

Like everything else in life, we have changed over the past 30 years! But our desire to be Jesus to our friends in need never changes. Sometimes it's building a home or providing a meal... sometimes it looks like providing work so a man can provide for his family.

Welcome. We are glad you are here. This summer we repainted our school and this artwork on the kindergarten is the finishing touch.

In Haiti we are getting ready for back to school too!

This summer we are working on some much needed projects: repainting the school, replacing our 25 year old rusty property gate and buying lots of school books!

While these are all needed updates, the coolest part is the work these projects provide. When we contacted James and Yvelle, who lead our painting team, they were so excited to have work! They kept telling us over and over how grateful they are for the job and what good work they promise to do! They have delivered! 2 of 3 building are repaired, painted and ready to go with the last building getting started this week.

When you give to Hut Outreach, we give jobs which gives dignity to hard working people who only need a little opportunity. Thank you for helping us!

MEET THE TEAM: Papa Charles ⭐

Papa Charles has been serving with Hut Outreach as the team leader/administrator for the Saturday Kids Club since 2024. Papa Charles accepted Jesus into his life in 1977. Everyone used to call him "ti pastè" (little preacher). He is a first generation follower of Jesus in his family and shares that "By the grace of God, He is still a follower and living proof that God is faithful." He has faithfully served as a pastor/missionary for over 30 years.

Papa Charles's favorite thing about Saturday Kids Club is getting to discuss God and hearing the children's perspective on Scripture, as it brings a fresh point of view. He also loves sharing meals and playing with the kids.

An interesting fact about Papa Charles is he enjoys cooking and doing laundry. Papa Charles has been known to make a tasty "bouyon" (stew) with a mix of all the ingredients he can find. 🍲

MEET THE TEAM: ROOSVELT CHARLES ⭐

Roosvelt serves as a helper for the Kids Club, and began working with Hut Outreach in 2024. Roosvelt accepted Jesus into his life in 2011. He shared that he has seen God's power in his life, as he has experienced supernatural healing and provision to pursue his education and life goals.

Roosvelt's favorite part about serving in the Kids Club is seeing the children meet every Saturday become family and joyfully learn together about the Word of God.

A fun fact about Roosvelt is he is a very persuasive speaker and enjoys a good debate.

MEET THE TEAM: Robenson Charles ⭐

Robenson serves as a lesson planner, teacher, and coordinator for the Saturday Kids Club. Robenson has been serving with Hut Outreach since 2016, and is excited to take on this new role empowering and teaching children of Haiti. Robenson came to know Christ in 2016 when he was in a place of seeking wisdom and understanding, and God spoke to Him in a practical way. Robenson's favorite thing about serving in the Kids Club is getting to teach the children that Jesus loves them, and how they can reciprocate that love to others. A fun fact about Robenson is he loves to sing.

Saturday club is back! Thank you Wesley Charles for coordinating stateside. Today 30 kids came for Bible stories and lunch. We wanted you to see how Hut Outreach continues to serve in Haiti.

Happy Haitian Flag Day! Bon fet drapo. We had a great party today with our Toledo Haitian friends. Thank you to Debra Sarno and Crossroads Impact Groups, Jessica Lashbrook and Cindy for making the day possible.

We ate, decorated and flew kites and did some crafts. But mostly we hung out and talked with our friends.

This sums up the day: one of our friends thanked me and said "This gives us so much value!"

Yesterday we celebrated Fanm Vanyan- resilient, strong women. We had a beautiful afternoon with our local Haitian friends with lunch, thank you Glass City Church and Jessica for all the very special Haiti touches!

The kids enjoyed playing in the nursery while the moms enjoyed a break. Thank you to our kids team, you all are the real heros of the day!

The best part though? When Aly Posta led us in English, Creole and French worship and we got to hear the ladies sing out together Lord I lift your name on High, Senye mwen leve non ou!

The ladies shopped for coats and hats and gloves- Calvary Bible Chapel and many others, you really came through. Thank you!

Our goal was to bless our friends and build our community even stronger. Thank you to an amazing team who made this possible!
