The Libbey House Foundation, a 501(c)(3) public non-profit charity, is dedicated to the rehabilitation of this important National Historical Landmark built in 1895 for Edward Drummond and Florence Scott Libbey. center that focuses on the past, present, and future of innovation and technology in Northwest Ohio. The Foundation seeks to preserve and maintain the historical accuracy and integrity of the Libbey House, a National Historic Landmark; promote awareness of the social, cultural, and economic history in Northwest Ohio through innovation and technology; and advance the future of innovation through exploration and collaboration with experts in various industries.

We can’t wait to welcome everyone to the historic Libbey House as part of America250 and in conjunction with Ohio’s Homecoming & Picnic. The Libbey House will be open on Saturday July 11 as part of the Toledo Museum of Art’s picnic and on Sunday, July 12th as part of the Time Travelers Passport. The Libbey House will be open both days from 11am-3pm. Libbeyhouse.org

On Saturday, July 11th, the beautiful grounds of the Toledo Museum of Art will be the setting for Ohio’s Homecoming & Picnic event. In conjunction, the Libbey House will be celebrating Mr. and Mrs. Libbey and their contribution to the American experience with a FREE open house tour of the historic Old West End mansion. Help celebrate America and the glass industry giant and art museum founder. The Libbey House will be open to the public from 11:00 am -3:00 pm.

Time Travelers Passport will also be held on July 11 and 12 at the historic Libbey House from 11am-3pm.

Join The Libbey House Foundation and as we commemorate the glass industry giant and art museum founder. The Libbey House is proud to be participating in America250–Ohio and the Time Travelers Passport program, which highlight significant places, people, and moments in our community and nation during the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Declaration of Independence.

Mr. and Mrs. Libbey are an instrumental part in how Northwest Ohio fits into 250 years of American history! Come check out the beautiful historic home during our open house on July 11 and 12 as part of the Time Travelers Passport.
