We’re incredibly proud to support the Hornbuckle Foundation and its youth music program. 💙

This organization is especially meaningful to KK Fearless. About a year ago, one of our board members met the Hornbuckle Foundation team at a BBQ, and a simple conversation opened the door to something really special.

As we learned more about their work, we discovered an incredible connection: they knew Kevan and had provided him with a scholarship to a sober living program before he passed away.

It’s amazing how things connect, and we’re honored that our paths crossed again in this way. I think we can thank Kevan for this.

Through its youth music program, the Hornbuckle Foundation gives young people the opportunity to learn, create, and connect through music. It provides a positive outlet where they can build confidence, discover their talents, and express themselves. 🎶

KK Fearless was honored to make a donation to support this program and the young people it serves. We believe music belongs everywhere—especially in spaces where it can inspire hope, connection, and a sense of belonging.

We’re grateful to support an organization that has already played such a meaningful role in Kevan’s story and continues to create opportunities for the next generation.

Some moments leave you speechless.

Reading these words reminded me why KK Fearless exists in the first place. Kevan and Krystle’s lives continue to create hope in ways we never could have imagined.

Thank you, Hornbuckle Foundation, for honoring Kevan’s memory with such love and for carrying his legacy forward by investing in the next generation. Knowing this donation will help young people discover healing through music means more than words can express.

If sharing our story helps even one person find hope, then their legacy continues to live on.

💙 A gift rooted in love.

We recently received a donation from KK Fearless to support our youth music program — and the story behind it stopped us in our tracks.

The founder, Brooke, is the sister of Kevan Perez who was our 30th sober living scholarship recipient in 2020. Although we only had a brief time with him, he left a permanent mark on our hearts and on the way we do this work.

His loss changed us. It shaped our coaching model, deepened our commitment to walking alongside people before they leave treatment, and reminded us why every single person we serve matters beyond measure.

Kevan was someone's brother. Someone's partner. Someone's *why.*

He was ours too. 💔

We don't believe Brooke finding us was an accident. We think Kevan had something to do with it. 🥰

Thank you, KK Fearless, for this beautiful gift. And thank you, Kevan, for loving us from the other side.

Your donation will help us teach music to kids ages 11-16 — giving the next generation tools to choose life, hope, and healing.

Today, we had the honor of attending the reveal of the new music space at Peaks Recovery Centers, Krystle & Kevan’s corner— a project supported by funds raised through our benefit festival in memory of Krystle and Kevan.

Seeing this space in person was incredibly special.

What began as an idea to honor their lives has now become a place where others can find healing, expression, and connection through music.

Thank you to Peak’s for allowing us to be part of this meaningful moment, and thank you to everyone who supported our fundraiser and helped make this possible. Your generosity continues to make a lasting impact.

We’re also excited to share that while we were there, we joined Peak’s podcast to talk more about KK Fearless, Krystle’s & Kevan’s story, and this partnership.

We’ll share more when that episode airs in the coming weeks. 🎶 ❤️

A few years ago, we hosted this benefit concert to raise funds for — a place that was part of Krystle’s recovery journey before she passed away.

This weekend, those funds are finally being put into action through the donation of instruments for their music space, creating a place for healing, expression, and connection for others walking their own recovery path.

What started as a day full of music, yoga, art and community support has come full circle into something that will continue to help others.

We are honored to be part of the reveal this Sunday and grateful to everyone who supported this event and helped make this possible. 🖤🎶

Today we honor a life that continues to inspire everything we do.

On what would have been his 35th birthday, we remember Kevan through the memories shared, the passions he loved—especially fishing—and the lasting impact he left on those around him.

KK Fearless was built on love, legacy, and the commitment to continue making a difference in his honor. His story lives on through every life touched by this mission.

We carry him with us today and always. 💙✌️
