Amen!

The book of Genesis lays the foundation for God’s redemption story. As we open this study together, may we see His goodness woven through creation and our everyday lives.

We are starting our Genesis study this week! Make sure to read lesson one which is a short commentary and then complete lesson two to discuss the questions this Thursday. This is going to be so good! See you Thursday!

We have reached the end of James... Lesson 6: "Faith and Practice." James is a very practical book. He left us with little doubt bout the the life of faith should look like. In this final chapter James talks about wealth, patience, grumbling, careful language, prayer, and straying believers. Fasten your seat belts! See you on Thursday! Can't wait to talk about it...

This week is brunch! Enjoy extra time for fellowship, food, and a warm cup of coffee!

Lesson 5 is titled: "Faith and Struggle" looking at James chapter 4. We can struggle in our relationships, with our desires, and misplaced confidence. We must surrender to grow in our faith. To benefit from God's grace, we have to be willing to admit our need and accept His gift! See you Thursday to talk about it.

We will see you Thursday morning to discuss lesson 4...
"Just as faith is proved by its works, wisdom is proved by its fruit. James said that those who sow in peace will reap "a harvest of righteousness" (James 3:18). The good fruit of those living by wisdom from above is evidence of the good God, who gives that wisdom to those who ask."

See you tomorrow morning to discuss Lesson 3. Below is our memory verse for this week! "James viewed good works as the inevitable consequence - the fruit - of genuine faith."

We will be discussing lesson 1 & 2 of James tomorrow! We are working on the memory verse below. See you in the morning!
