🐾 Upson County Humane Society 🐾
Our organization was founded in 1984, and in 2026, we proudly celebrate 42 years of service!!
The Upson County Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to helping people in our community provide better lives for their pets. We assist with low-cost spay and neuter services, bring affordable spay/neuter clinics to our community whenever possible and assist with the Rescue & transport from the County shelter .
🚩 A Very Important Distinction
The Upson County Humane Society is NOT the Upson County Animal Shelter and does NOT operate Animal Control.
Our volunteers often photograph animals at the county shelter and share their pictures on Facebook and other locations to help them find loving homes. However, the Humane Society cannot guarantee the health, temperament, behavior, or condition of any animal adopted from the shelter. Those determinations are made by shelter personnel.
