A little about who we are: Acts Outreach is a Ministry that has joined up with Families Feeding Families of Middle Ga. And is st

riving to help others in need. FFF asked if we come aboard from Eternal Impact Inc. Several years ago and we did. (Always Choose To Serve) is a non-profit organization that strives to help people in need or going through rough time here in the communities of Upson, Pike, Lamar, and throughout the state. Some of the ways in which we help are:

• Assistance with short term motel stays
• Clothing,Blankets,Sleeping Bags,Tents,& Socks,
• Food
• Personal Hygiene Items
• Help families get Christmas for their kids and school supplies when school starts back. We are currently looking at several buildings for a Community Outreach Center where we can help that is needed to the Individuals. We also want to help Families in domestic violence situations. We currently have meetings monthly to discuss what has been going on in the Ministry and what is upcoming. We would love to help you in these meetings. We are looking to span out in other communities where ever you are. So if you would like to help please send us a message and we will can set things up.

Update for this Saturday feeding at the City of Refuge it has been Cancelled due to be a Hoilday Weekend.We had forgot it was a Hoilday and the Pastor said in the meeting if it falls on a Hoilday weekend we will not have it. So we will start on October 3rd Have a Happy and Safe Labor day Weekend.

Ladies this is a Public Service Announcement. If you meet a Man online that in another State, Please do your Homework before you move and you get to where they are. You think its Love at first sight and it's not. When you get to where he is and he dumps you make sure you have a way out. If not you will be Homeless or living in a Motel and No Job. Make sure you have a plan.
1: A Vehicle
2: The Funds
3:Family and Friends to get back to.
Love yourself and pay attention.And the most important thing Have Jesus in Heart.

We meet with the Pastor at the City of Refuge to discuss about serving meals to the homeless and whoever else comes in Yesterday evening.
Acts Outreach the 1st Saturday of every month starting September 5th. That's next weekend.
He asked us to be there at 9AM to start Preparing.
Lunch will start at 11AM and ends at 12PM
They have food there to be prepared. They will have a schedule up to be what needs to be cooked, Will show everyone what is going on when everyone arrives. Please let me know if you like to Volunteer. We will need some Volunteers to help Cook, Clean and Simply Love and share Gods word with them. Thanks and God Bless

RANT I try to be nice to anyone but when you think you entitled say im going to help you and I was late seeing your text. Im sorry life gets in the way there is sometimes I want answer right away. Sorry guys I do my best to be Christain like but when I get told im gonna do this and that to help you. Nope not gonna do it. And the ones that are nice it's just it makes it hard on them. The meeting for this evening has been cancelled Rescheduled for the 25th. And also we gonna go ahead pick the 1st Saturday of each month to serve at the city of refuge. Will need Volunteers if your interested We will be cooking and living on the people that we have talked about.

INFORMATION NOTICE!!!

ACTS LITTLE CHRISTMAS ELF APPLICATIONS:
Will be available beginning Sunday October 25th thru Sunday November 15th. November 15th will be the deadline and NO late applications will be accepted. Also, if you sign up with Empty Stocking fund please do not sign up with Acts. We want to give all the children a wonderful Christmas, as we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!!!!

HELP NEEDED!!!
I was sent a message about a family with 4 kids needing help by this Friday. Ages 12..5..3..and 10 months that r about to be evicted. They need 500$ by next Friday or them and their kids along with all their stuff and the kids stuff is gonna be put out. The husband's work slowed and she isn't working due to having to watch the babies. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank u. May have something that fell in our laps. Made a phone call this morning to the Pastor at City Of Refuge in Thomaston and asked if we could have our meeting this coming Tuesday. He said yes, So 6PM City of Refuge will will discuss feeding the Hungry. They have lunch every Saturday and have openings for 2 Saturdays for a group like Acts Outreach. So if you like to come and hear what's going on. They have restrooms, Showers, and give clothing away. And they will provide the food and all we have to do is cook it.

Had a young lady with a 8 month old she reached out to us today we was able to provide her with a A/C unit that was donated yesterday. I asked if the baby needed anything she is nèed of similac alimentum, normally she gets it on WIC. For some reason her WIC is cut off she said all his formula n teething stuff I get I am not able to get. I'm using his last can of formula and it's not even the right one. If anyone has something to help please let me know. God Bless!!
