*Won Kim has been involved with Search and Rescue (SAR) for over 20 years, learning valuable skills needed to navigate the outdoors. Won has taught winter survival, winter shelter building, avalanche classes, orienteering, and mountaineering classes. Won's work also included studying the outdoor environment in Oregon's wildest areas, where many of his skills are learned and tested. Won continues to learn from playing in the outdoors and enjoys sharing this knowledge.

👨🏿‍💼The Careers in Your Community Challenge has launched! The U.S. Department of Education's annual CTE Momentum series prepares high school students for rewarding careers and increases access to career and technical education (CTE). The challenge invites high schools to propose solutions that improve career exploration at their schools.

📅Submissions are due by November 19, and up to 10 winning teams will receive an equal share of the $50,000 prize pool.
