At SMRC, we know Equal Pay is about more than just fairness; it's about dignity, safety, and freedom from violence. When women and gender-diverse people are underpaid, they face significant barriers to leaving abusive relationships, accessing safety and autonomy, and healing from trauma. Pay inequity leaves Survivors vulnerable and allows domestic and sexual violence to thrive.

In honor of one of our favorite holidays, International Women’s Day, join us and our friends at & next Friday, March 6 at our annual Equal Pay Day Bake Sale! Every yummy treat sold supports a local graduating senior and brings us closer to a community where everyone has the resources to thrive and the freedom to live their lives free from violence.
