By Faith!!

Below is a picture of what our fellowship hall will look like when it is finished. We have started clearing the land, and donations have been coming in to support this mission. We had been trying not to ask for help from the community too much because you all were so wonderful helping us complete the remodel of Burnett House.

We heard the Lord say to lean on Him in this season, and sow seed. We sowed some large seed donations into three ministries over the past couple of months. We are believing that these seeds will grow and become an abundant harvest to help build Valor Hall and two tiny homes.

If you feel led to help, we would greatly appreciate your prayers and financial support. We are believing for a God-sized harvest!

We heard testimony this weekend about a pastor in Oregon who miraculously raised 50 million dollars in just one day. If God can do that for Him, we know He can do it for the Valor House!

God is faithful, and He will do what He said in His Word He would do! -Luke 6:32

Valor Hall is coming to fruition!

Did you know that if you are enrolled in the LIHEAP utility assistance program through Douglas-Cherokee Economic Authority, you may be eligible to receive assistance with the cost of firewood?

Becky let us know that if you are signed up for this program and purchase firewood from us, we can provide you with a handwritten receipt that you can submit for reimbursement.

The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God. Our battle is not against flesh and blood. We overcome by faith!

Perfect love casts out fear.

I believe a lot of our fear comes from believing we deserve punishment. We carry guilt, shame, and condemnation because of our past, our mistakes, and the things we struggle with. But as we mature in our relationship with God and begin to understand His love, we realize that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

The punishment we deserved was met with His mercy and grace. He loves us, covers us, and forgives us. We can walk in peace, not because we are perfect, but because He is faithful. We can stop living in fear and start living in the freedom of knowing who He is and who we are in Him.

God is love, and in His perfect love, there is no room for fear.

Look at the birds. They don’t spend their days worrying about tomorrow, yet our Heavenly Father provides for them. How much more does He care for us?

The more we experience God, the more we mature in love. The more we mature in love, the more the lies that produce fear begin to lose their power over our lives. We begin to understand that we don’t have to live in constant worry, shame, guilt, or fear of punishment. We can trust Him.

I’m telling you, give God an honest shot. Seek Him. Trust Him. Test His goodness for yourself. Taste and see that the Lord is good!

He is who He says He is. He is love, and in Him, there is freedom.

You don’t have to spend the rest of your life afraid of being punished by the very One who is calling you into a relationship with Him.

Get to know His heart. Experience His love. Walk in His freedom.

1 John 4:17–18 (NKJV)

“Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.”

Willie, Amy, Dustin, and Dylan were shown the Lord’s favor at the Ron Carpenter conference in Greenville with front row seats. We are excited to see what the Lord has in store for us today!
