Acts 4: 33 tells us that “great grace was upon them all.” This year marks 15 years in ministry and we can testify that His grace (the ability to do what we cannot do on our own) has been extended to us in a great measure.
In the past fifteen years, we have seen parents get their daughter back. Well over 100 children are reunited with their mothers. Many high school dropouts get their GED’s. Some have furthered their education, even receiving their Maste’s degree. Women have become business owners. We have many giving back in the recovery community. Some of our graduates are Peer Recovery Specialist and Drug Counselors, while other are ministering in the jails other churches. Some have even become missionaries overseas. If you were to visit one of our many local Celebrate Recoveries, chances are you would hear one of our graduates giving their testimony.
We can’t forget God giving us grace with all of you during Covid. For this reason, we were able to build and open HOM2 and give our ladies an opportunity to transition. This allows them to get their footing by working, saving money, and having a safe place to stay, all while getting things for their new life in order, yet, still having accountability.
We are thankful for each of you that have continued the journey with us and pray for each of you. The past fifteen years of women getting their lives back have been possible because you have stayed with us. We hope that you will remain a part of what God is doing at The House that Mercy Built in the future, knowing you are sowing into good ground. We understand that things happen and some can’t continue to do what they would like to, but we are also asking if you receive this letter and you haven’t partnered with us in a while that you would prayerfully consider doing so in the coming year.
If any of you would want to have the ladies come to your church and share at one of your services, you can contact us and we would love to fellowship with you and share the good things God has done and is doing and give assurance that you have been and continue to sow into good ground.
Our prayer for you as we end this is that God make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have abundance for every good work and Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness, while you are enriched in everything for all liberality, which causes thanksgiving through us to God.
