🌲 TELLICO PLAINS TRAIL TOWN BOOK CLUB 🚲🥾
Join us for our follow-up Trail Town Book Club meeting!
Tellico Plains has been invited to join a statewide conversation about Trail Towns and how trails and outdoor recreation can help support:
🌿 Economic Development
🚲 Tourism & Outdoor Recreation
🥾 Trails & Connectivity
❤️ Community Health
🏘️ Quality of Life
💼 Local Businesses & Downtown Revitalization
As part of this statewide initiative, communities are being invited to read Deciding on Trails by Amy Camp and come together to discuss how the ideas in the book could apply to their own communities.
📚 Follow-up MEETING
📅 Tuesday, September 29th, 2026
⏰ 5:30 PM
📍 The Match Bookshelf
108B Scott St.
Tellico Plains, TN

You don't have to be a trail expert to participate! This conversation is for anyone who cares about the future of Tellico Plains—including residents, business owners, outdoor recreation enthusiasts, tourism partners, community leaders, cyclists, hikers, volunteers, and anyone interested in making the most of our incredible natural assets.

Our goal is to explore:
How can Tellico Plains connect our trails, outdoor recreation, downtown, businesses, tourism, and community in ways that create lasting economic and quality-of-life benefits?
The state Trail Towns steering committee will be joining us at this meeting. What we share can help shape future state programming and funding opportunities for Trail Town development.

🌄 Come read. Come talk. Come share your ideas for the future of Tellico Plains.
Everyone is welcome!
