From State IFC:
To every family who has found strength in a phone call, a message, or just knowing your loved one is okay this one is for you.
We are collecting family letters of support for SB 498 (Keep Families Connected 2.0). This bill would expand communication access for incarcerated people and their families giving us more time to connect, more affordability, and more ways to stay close no matter the distance.
We believe families make a difference. And the California Legislature needs to hear from you.
Signing takes just 2 minutes. Fill out our short Google Form and your name will be included on a letter delivered to the Assembly Public Safety Committee.
Please share this with anyone who loves someone on the inside. Every name is a family standing up and saying: we are still here.
