We are collecting family letters of support for SB 498 (Keep Families Connected 2.0). This bill would expand communication access for incarcerated people and their families giving us more time to connect, more affordability, and more ways to stay close no matter the distance.

We believe families make a difference. And the California Legislature needs to hear from you.

A yard - is off PSR (per PIO) and the website has been updated.

B-yard - PSR is still in effect. No new updates.

🚨📣🚨Please note the recent process changes from CCI for family events:

- ALL DONATIONS - must be purchased via the IFC gift registry. This means the visiting center will no longer accept in-person candy donations.

- Donations must now be delivered to and processed by CCI (which may cause delays).

Due to these recent changes, our Mother's Day event will be affected. Goodie bags will be very limited and at a first come first serve basis for each yard. We are working on updates for Father's day and future events to accommodate these changes and will inform families on how they can donate soon.

These changes were unexpected but IFC is making every effort to adapt and prepare for future events. We will also be discussing these new changes with CCI in the next quarterly meeting.
