OCTOBER 2: Tree planting at Brookside Cemetery
• We’ll be planting 7 new trees. Meet at the cemetery office, 501 N. Union St.

OCTOBER 3: Tree planting in the Red Maple/Hickory Ridge Subdivision
• We’ll be planting 25 new trees. Meet between 606 and 608 Hickory Ridge Dr.

OCTOBER 10–11: AppleUmpkin festival
• ReTree Tecumseh has been asked to provide volunteers to staff the AppleUmpkin information booth, located at the corner of Chicago Blvd. and Evans St. near Boulevard Market. NEW! TREE WATERING VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Volunteers are needed one morning each week to water our newest trees. You will ride along with a city employee and fill the gator bags or water rentention mats with water.

GARDENERS: ReTree has a LOT of leftovers to re-home from our spring plant sale, and now they’re FREE to good homes (although donations are appreciated). Get yours ASAP, or they’re going in the compost bin shortly. Located in Tecumseh.

Don’t miss our big plant sale, happening today (Saturday), 9am-1pm, at the Tecumseh Farmers Market, 213 N. Evans. Big hostas, daylilies, and fancy planted pots, and over 30 varieties of native plants. Cards & cash accepted. Proceeds plant trees on public property in the city.
