Next spring, we'll present a program that highlights Latin American influences on our nation's early popular music. One of the orchestrations we'll feature is the popular waltz by Mexican composer José Juventino Policarpo Rosas Cadenas, "Sobre las olas" ("Over the Waves"). As we work on putting together the program, it was wonderful to come across a recent adaptation of this tune by our friend Ethan Uslan. We think you'll enjoy it very much!
