Join The American Legion Family in proudly flying Old Glory on Flag Day, June 14th! American Legion posts across the country will also conduct proper flag-collection and retirement ceremonies, host flag education sessions, and encourage all Americans to fly the U.S. flag this day and throughout the year.

This year's Flag retirement ceremony will be held at the V.F.W. Slater-Hall Post #4187 outdoor pavilion on Saturday, June 13th at 10:00am.

Need a flag? Visit Post 34 and ask to purchase a flag.

Fun Fact: Flag Day is celebrated on June 14th because that day marks the adoption of the flag of the United States – June 14, 1777.

American Legion Auxiliary Unit 34 Tecumseh, MI in Tecumseh is holding a raffle for this beautiful homemade quilt in honor of the 250th birthday of America.

Tickets $5 each and can be picked up at Post 34 during regular hours.

Raffle will be held on Memorial Day at 3:00pm. Need not be present to win.
