Lucy has been one of our most consistent and dedicated students these last few years. From pursuing her own projects to working diligently to produce projects for us, she’s truly been an invaluable member of the TK1 Team. We just know she’ll bring her poise and leadership to Stanford and beyond!

Lucy is an 18 year old from Taos, New Mexico. She has just graduated from Taos High School and is the President of the True Kids 1 Youth Council. She has been involved in numerous video projects at True Kids as well as helping out with the Kids, Screens, and Phones Initiative. She is a captain of the Taos High Soccer team and the president of the Interact Club. She also loves spikeball, skiing, swimming, and exploring the outdoors with her friends. In the fall she will be attending Stanford University.

Thank you, Taos! You really showed up for our students last night and we could not be more grateful! This was the biggest turnout at a TK1 event yet.

The effort these young people poured into their projects was truly incredible, and it really showed in their pieces. There’s something special about coming together as a community to celebrate creativity, hard work, and growth. We’re so grateful for everyone who showed up to support these accomplishments — we couldn’t do this without this amazing community.

We also had the chance to honor some of our rising seniors. While we’ll miss them deeply, we’re excited to see where their journeys take them next and hope they carry the lessons, memories, and connections they built with us along the way.

Thank you for being part of it all — we’ll see you at the next one! ❤️
