You can't buy happiness, but you can buy a kid a bike, and that's pretty close.

OnBikes is a Tampa based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization formed in 2011 when a group of friends organized a community bike ride during the winter holiday season to raise funds so at-risk children could receive their first bicycles. OnBikes focus is to promote self-confidence, healthy living and overall well-being of at-risk children and foster kids while providing a fun and safe physical activity.

From bikes to building a future. Last week, while volunteering with our amazing community partners at Habitat for Humanity of Hillsborough County, we had the honor of attending a home dedication ceremony for Michelle Range and her family. A family we first met when gifting bikes through Santa’s Bike Shop.

Seeing Michelle and her two children officially receive the keys to their brand-new home was an incredibly moving, full-circle moment for our team. It’s a privilege to witness their journey continue and to support families as they build brighter futures and plant roots in our community.

Moments like this are a reminder of why we do what we do. Welcome home, Michelle! 🔑💙

THE FINAL TALLY IS IN! 🚲🔥

We’ve spent the last few weeks counting up every mile and every dollar from our 15 for 15 Challenge, and we are absolutely inspired by the results. Because of this community’s incredible generosity, we raised a grand total of $11,481!

What does that mean for our community?
It means 60 MORE kids will be getting brand-new bikes and helmets this year.

That’s 60 more smiles, 60 more adventures, and 60 more kids experiencing the freedom of two wheels. You didn’t just help us reach a goal, you’ve changed the summer for 60 families in our community.

To every person who pedaled, shared, and donated throughout the month of April: THANK YOU. We couldn’t do this without the onbikes family. 🎒💚

Happy Mother’s Day from the onbikes family! Today we’re celebrating all moms, bonus moms, pet moms, and the mother figures who show up every day with love.

This past weekend, onbikes volunteered with Habitat for Humanity of Hillsborough County and celebrated a special home dedication for Michelle Range and her family, who previously received bikes through Santa’s Bike Shop. Through this partnership, 50 bikes were delivered to Habitat families across Hillsborough County.

This past weekend, onbikes volunteered alongside our community partner, Habitat for Humanity of Hillsborough County. We showed up to support families and to see firsthand the impact Habitat creates every day: safe, affordable homes and the foundation for a stronger future.

One moment stood out. After volunteering, we attended a home dedication ceremony and saw a familiar face. One of the families we previously gifted bikes to is now stepping into a brand new home. Homeowner Michelle Range and her two children are beginning this next chapter together, and it was meaningful to be there again as their journey continues.
Through this partnership, 50 bikes built at Santa’s Bike Shop last December were delivered to Habitat families in Hillsborough. These bikes are more than transportation. They represent freedom, mobility, and new opportunities as families settle into their new homes. Grateful to work alongside Habitat and our board members in moments like this.

Thank you, Habitat, for the work you do every day.
