onbikes You can't buy happiness, but you can buy a kid a bike, and that's pretty close.

OnBikes is a Tampa based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization formed in 2011 when a group of friends organized a community bike ride during the winter holiday season to raise funds so at-risk children could receive their first bicycles. OnBikes focus is to promote self-confidence, healthy living and overall well-being of at-risk children and foster kids while providing a fun and safe physical activity.

Riding a bike is a key part of many people’s childhoods. Enabling kids in our communities to continue riding bikes and shaping experiences is what makes our work at onbikes so rewarding.

A day of building bikes, building connections, and creating opportunity for local youth.

We were proud to bring together our community partners for a bike build benefiting the students of Visible Men Academy. These bikes provide more than transportation. They help create access, independence, and new possibilities for students.

A special thank you to:

Louis Parker, Co-Founder of Visible Men Academy, and Dr. V, Principal of Visible Men Academy, for the incredible work you do for your students.

Chadwell Supply, for helping make this bike build possible.

Petra Stanton, Injury Prevention Program Manager, and Ragan McGillis, Community Relations Program Manager, at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, for bringing your team together to invest in the next generation.

We are grateful for every person and organization that helps us change lives two wheels at a time.
