As camp comes to a close, we’re reminded that First Tee is about so much more than golf.

Throughout the week, our campers developed golf skills, built confidence, practiced perseverance, and created lasting memories with friends and coaches.

We celebrated the final day with contests, virtual golf, pizza, golf baseball, popsicles, and plenty of fun, including a water balloon fight to finish the week.

Thank you to our campers, families, coaches, and volunteers for making this week so special. We are proud of all that these young people accomplished and look forward to seeing them continue their journey with First Tee.

First Tee Summer Camp Day 1

Yesterday was all about building a strong foundation.

Campers started the day with a fitness circuit before rotating through stations focused on putting, chipping, pitching, and full swing fundamentals.

They worked on developing a consistent putting routine, experimented with different chipping techniques, learned how club selection impacts distance control around the green, and spent time finding the grip that works best for their swing.

The day wrapped up with target practice and driver accuracy challenges, where players tracked their results and learned the importance of focus, consistency, and a pre-shot routine.

One of the biggest lessons from today: your grip is the only connection you have to the golf club, making it one of the most important fundamentals in the game.

A great first day of learning, improving, and having fun on the course. We can’t wait for Day 2! ☀️🏌️‍♀️🏌️‍♂️
