Congratulations to Hunter Glantz, First Tee Tallahassee Junior Coach, who has been selected for the 2026 Congaree Global Golf Initiative!

Chosen from the largest applicant pool in the history of the Congaree Foundation, Hunter joins an elite class of 84 high school students representing North America, South America, the Caribbean, Europe, Africa, and Asia.

This summer, Hunter will kick off the experience with a weeklong camp at Congaree Golf Club in Ridgeland, South Carolina, one of the premier golf facilities in the country. Through the Congaree Global Golf Initiative, participants gain access to world-class coaching, academic counseling, and a collegiate preparatory curriculum designed to help them succeed both on and off the course.

We’re excited to see Hunter represent our community on a global stage. Congratulations, Hunter, we’re cheering you on every step of the way!

The best part of golf has always been the people you meet along the way. ⛳️

This May, the Tallahassee Urban Cup is bringing mentors and mentees together for four weeks of competition, community, and connection through the game of golf.

With support from Watson Links, First Tee Tallahassee, and the City of Tallahassee, young players are gaining more than experience on the course, they’re building confidence, friendships, and life skills that will last far beyond May. 💚

The Tallahassee Urban Cup is a month-long celebration of mentorship, leadership, and community, pairing young golfers with mentors for four weeks of team competition at Hilaman and Jake Gaither.

Proudly presented by First Tee Tallahassee, Watson Links, and the City of Tallahassee, this event is helping shape the next generation both on and off the course.

The Tallahassee Urban Cup is back for Year 2 ⛳️🏆

All month long, mentors and mentees will tee it up in a citywide match-play competition designed to build confidence, connection, and community through the game of golf.

Presented by Watson Links, First Tee Tallahassee, and the City of Tallahassee, this event pairs young golfers ages 10–17 with mentors for four weeks of teamwork, encouragement, and unforgettable memories at Hilaman and Jake Gaither.

Because sometimes the biggest wins happen far beyond the fairway. 💚
