The Corrections Foundation continues to prioritize financial assistance for our FDC officers and staff affected by Hurricane Isaias. 🌀

Today, we provided 46 FDC personnel with $18,750 in emergency disaster relief. This brings our cumulative total to $219,700 distributed to 427 employees who need it most.

Our response to Hurricane Isaias continues with the Corrections Foundation providing 33 FDC personnel with $17,150. We've assisted 378 individuals with $198,350 in direct financial assistance to help them recover from Hurricane Isaias.

Today, Corrections Foundation staff sent an additional 74 FDC officers and staff affected by Isaias $28,600 in financial assistance. This brings our total to $181,200 in direct financial assistance to 348 FDC personnel.

We are continuing to prioritize disaster relief for all FDC personnel.

As of today, we've assisted 274 FDC officers and staff affected by Hurricane Isaias with $152,600 in financial assistance. We also purchased 59 tarps which have been delivered to Santa Rosa CI for those staff who need them most.

We continue to review and provide assistance to those hardest hit.

The Florida Department of Financial Services is holding insurance assistance hubs at two locations in the Panhandle to assist those impacted by Isaias. Various insurance companies will be at these hubs to help you with your claim.

These hubs are intended to provide face-to-face venues where consumers can:
o File new insurance claims.
o Discuss existing claims and claims-related issues directly with carrier representatives.
o Receive assistance navigating the claims process.

Location One and Schedule:
• Location: Morgan Sports Complex, 4200 Indian Bayou Trail, Destin, Florida 32541.
• Opening: Sunday, October 11, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Central Time.
• Ongoing Operations: Through Friday, October 16.
• Daily Hours (October 12-16): 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Central Time.

Location Two and Schedule:
• Location: University of West Florida, 11000 University Parkway, Parking Lot B, Pensacola, FL 32514.
• Opening: October 12, 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. CT.
• Operations: Through October 16, with daily hours of 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. CT.
