Curls For Queens is preparing for our upcoming May 17th Salon Day in partnership with the Family Resource Center and we are specifically looking for volunteer braiders who are willing to give back to the community. 👑

We are also welcoming:

✨ Estheticians

This event will serve Black and Brown girls across Tallahassee. We are providing not just services but confidence, care, and affirmation.

Braiders are essential to making this event successful. If you have a heart for community and a gift for creating beautiful, protective styles, we would love to connect with you.

🤎✨ Pop Up Salon Day✨🤎

Curls For Queens is proud to announce our partnership with the Family Resource Center as we expand our impact in Tallahassee. 👑

On Sunday, May 17, we will be hosting a special Curls For Queens Hair Day serving Black and Brown girls across Tallahassee.

This isn’t just about hair.
It’s about confidence.
It’s about culture.
It’s about community.

Our queens will receive hair styling and care in a space intentionally created to affirm, uplift, and celebrate them. 💛

✨ Spots will be limited. ✨

We are committed to pouring back into our community and creating safe, empowering experiences for our girls.

We’re looking for talented hairstylists and nail technicians who are willing to donate their time and skills to pour into our local K–12 students. For some of these kids, a fresh hairstyle or clean nails is more than just a look it’s confidence, dignity, and a reminder that they matter. 💛

Your gift could help a student walk into school feeling proud, seen, and ready to learn. Whether it’s for picture day, a special event, or just because every child deserves to feel their best, your impact will go far beyond the chair.

If you’re passionate about your craft and believe in uplifting the next generation, we would love to have you be a part of this village. Even one day of service can make a lifelong difference.

This past weekend doesn’t owe us anything!! We were able to take our Salon Day back to Tampa and service the queens at Brandon High School.

None of this would be possible without the help and dedication from all of our volunteers. Being able to see the smiles reminds us why we do what we do.❤️😁
