What happens when freedom becomes a memory?

As America celebrates its 250th anniversary, audiences are being invited into a timely conversation through The Cross & The Saber, now playing at LAB Theater Project through July 19.

Set in a near-future America, the play explores a society where security has become the highest virtue, conformity is expected, and asking questions can be dangerous. Through sharp satire and compelling storytelling, it challenges us to reflect on freedom, truth, and our shared civic responsibility.
