Meet Larry and Hidee.

When Larry rescued Hidee from the shelter, she was too scared and shy to leave the house. Rogue Valley Street Dogs made a home visit to provide her rabies booster. Hidee has come such a long way since then, and they both regularly come to outreach events. “She is a really sweet dog," Larry says.

Street Dogs makes it possible for humans to give their companion animals the best care, whatever their housing or income situation may be. If you’d like to volunteer or donate, visit us at https://roguevalleystreetdogs.org.

Angel came to a recent Rogue Valley Street Dogs event at OHRA with her four-year-old kitty, Fiona, to keep Fiona up-to-date on her vaccines. She also got some food, litter, and an adorable warm sweater-dress for Fiona.

Fiona is more than a beloved companion for Angel; she’s been trained to help keep Angel safe. For example, Angel explains, because Angel is hard of hearing, Fiona has learned how to indicate someone is at the door, with a vocal alert known as the “loud mom yowl” along with pacing.

Before moving to Ashland, Angel adopted Fiona from the Lincoln City animal shelter. Now on a fixed income and without transportation, Angel was glad to be able to come to OHRA, with Fiona in a stroller, to get what they need.

Rogue Valley Street Dogs helps housed and unhoused humans take the best care of their companion animals, from spay/neuter surgeries to vaccines to food. And Street Dogs relies on donations to do this good work — please visit https://roguevalleystreetdogs.org to learn how you can help!

Shy-Ann is a sweet 16-year-old dog who came with her human to a recent Rogue Valley Street Dogs outreach event for food and supplies.

Dogs like Shy-Ann are cherished companions, and Street Dogs helps their humans keep them safe and well — especially when it comes to spay/neuter surgeries, which help dogs and cats live their fullest and healthiest lives.

Street Dogs always needs funds to help with spay/neuter, as well as other supplies! Visit https://roguevalleystreetdogs.org to donate.

Avery and Alexander came to the Rogue Valley Street Dogs outreach today at OHRA with their dog, Oscar, and tabby cat, Solstice. This family of four is in Ashland, looking for a permanent place to live.

In the meantime, they wanted to be sure that Oscar and Solstice, both 14 years old, have everything they need. Today Street Dogs provided vaccines, flea and tick medication, food and treats, and a handsome haircut for Oscar.

Oscar was the perfect client while he got a haircut, brush, and nail trim from one of our fabulous Street Dogs volunteers … while sweet, mellow Solstice waited patiently in his carrier.

Alexander has had Oscar and Solstice since they were only 6 months old. “They’re my kiddos,” he says.

Rogue Valley Street Dogs is committed to helping humans and their pets stay together no matter what challenges life brings. And we always need donations to help with spay/neuter surgeries and other medical care, as well as food and supplies. To donate, please visit us at https://roguevalleystreetdogs.org.
