TNRFC are lucky to be located near Joint Base Lewis-McChord and enjoy decades of sharing the pitch with Active, Guard, Reserve, and Veteran ruggers.

One of our own represented the black and gold of Army in the recent Armed Forces Championship at RugbyTown 7s.

Army closed out the 2026 Armed Forces Men’s Rugby Championship with a win over Coast Guard to claim the title! 🏉🥇

The 2026 Fall season is officially on the books—and Tacoma Nomads Rugby is bringing rugby back to the South Sound.

Six matches. Four at home. One tough battle in Portland, and one hell of a road trip to Moscow, Idaho. 🍻🚌 Whether you’ve been playing rugby for years, haven’t touched a ball since college, or have been telling yourself “I should really try something new…” — this is your season.

We’re building something in Tacoma, and we want YOU to be part of it.

For over 50 years, the Tacoma Nomads have been building something bigger than a rugby club.

We’ve built friendships, families, traditions, and a community that’s welcomed thousands of players—whether they stepped onto the pitch for one season or a lifetime.

2026-2027 Season is [almost] Here!

The boots are coming out of the closet. The jerseys are (eventually) getting washed. The excuses are running out. After a summer recharge, the Tacoma Nomads are back.

The road to fall rugby starts now—with our Annual Aroma 7s Tournament, General Meeting, and a hefty dose of preseason training.
