Another successful food pantry giveaway! ❤️

7/19.

This week, 71 families will not go hungry because of the dedication of our incredible volunteers and community partners.

A special thank you to Simone, Joe, Steve, Andy, Suaad, Roya, Aisha, Elmi and her brother for giving their time and serving our community with compassion.

We were also honored to welcome our special guest from Albany, Mallory, who joined us to experience firsthand our mission that “Hunger Has No Color.” Together, we are proving that when a community comes together, we can make a real difference—one family at a time.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support the New Americans Blessing Box. Your generosity is changing lives.

We are incredibly grateful to Salt City Harvest Farm and Deaf New American Farm for helping us provide fresh, healthy produce to families in our community. Your kindness and partnership are making a real difference.

Together, we are building a stronger, healthier community—one act of generosity at a time. 💚🥕🥬

We truly appreciate your time, hard work, and dedication to helping us create a welcoming space for our community. We could not do this without volunteers like you. Family Style! 💛🌺 This Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month, we recognize and celebrate the vast, vibrant cultures of our neighbors with roots across the entire Asian continent as well as the Pacific island conglomerates of Melanesia, Micronesia, and Polynesia.

Great for "luaus, parties, and potlucks," try out this Chicken Long Rice recipe for a taste of Hawaii this May at bit.ly/ohr-clr!

Tip: Peeling ginger by scraping it with a spoon is a great way to keep more of the root intact for use! 🥄
