Cheyenne is disabled and a full time caregiver for her mother. She lives with anxiety, depression, and CPTSD from a hard childhood. For 24 years she cared for her parents. Through multiple illnesses, hoarding, and family abuse. She’s largely navigated the last 6-7 years without access to running water in the home. That caring left her body disabled with multiple diagnoses that impact mobility. She has scoliosis so bad her spine curves nearly 70 degrees. She also needs a serious surgery soon and will need a clean and safe home to heal. Moving, cleaning, and fixing her home is not just hard, it is DANGEROUS. She needs help. After six years with no water, she has it. But the rest of the work will take a village.
