Congratulations to Topanga Mullen on representing Desert Oasis and Arizona at the National FCCLA Conference in Washington, D.C.!

As one of our dedicated Desert Oasis livestock exhibitors, Topanga continues to demonstrate that true leadership extends far beyond the show ring. After earning her spot at Nationals with a top finish in the FCCLA state competition this past March, she brought her Event Management project to life by planning, organizing, and hosting a successful archery event at our school. She is now presenting the entire project at the national level, sharing how she transformed an idea into a successful event through planning, leadership, and ex*****on.

We are incredibly proud of Topanga’s dedication, work ethic, and willingness to lead both in and out of the ring. Competing at the National FCCLA Conference is an outstanding accomplishment—especially as an eighth grader, where most competitors are high school students.

Congratulations, Topanga! Thank you for representing Desert Oasis and Arizona with excellence. Your future is bright, and we can’t wait to see where your leadership takes you next!

Shout out to Topanga Mullen for an INCREDIBLE showing in market hair sheep at the Maricopa County Fair 🐑🎉

She placed 1st in class, advanced to the final drive, and earned Reserve Champion Market Hair Sheep 🏆✨

She also earned the opportunity to participate and represent our team in the Grand Drive at the end of the evening—what an amazing accomplishment! 🌟👏

Shout out to Paisley Pond on her incredible achievement—Reserve Champion in the Small Stock Round Robin! 👏🐐🐰🐔

After earning her spot with her pygmy goat, Paisley advanced to the Round Robin, where she showcased her skills across all small stock species—cavy, rabbit, poultry, and dairy goat. That means she had to quickly adapt and demonstrate her knowledge and showmanship with each animal, not just her own.

We are so proud of her hard work, versatility, and dedication. What an amazing accomplishment!
