PSDS Educational and Cultural Assistance Inc., is a non-profit volunteer corporation dedicated to helping schools in the province of Bohol, Republic of the Philippines. Established in 2003 and based in Surprise, Arizona, it has provided school resources and assistance to high school students to help them stay in school and lessen the financial burden on their parents . Many of those who received
help have proceeded to higher educational status and thereby enhancing their chances of a more meaningful and rewarding life ahead. We are a non-profit US IRS Code 501 (3) group of Carmenanon and friends based in Arizona with a primary objective to provide assistance to schools in Carmen and other places. Over the years, we provided grants, books, school supplies, computers/peripherals, technical materials, schoolrooms, improved school facilities and scholarships. At this time, we are primarily helping Policronio S. Dano Sr. High School, Nueva Fuerza, Carmen. We do intend to “spread our wings” to other schools as we gain additional support from fellow Carmenanon and friends. We manage our projects and carries out all activities to completion. Where possible, we try to circumvent complicated public (local and national) administrative processes which often hinder and misdirect the good intentions of many donors. We have no ax to grind nor accolades to achieve. Our main goal is to provide assistance to the education of children in Carmen (and other places) and increase cultural ties with the future leaders of the Philippines. We know this is a mouthful, but we take little bites. We plan to do more.
