Joseph’s Youth Camp is a 501(c)3 nonprofit youth camp located in Mormon Lake, Arizona. Joseph’s Youth Camp provides youth ages 8 to 17, week-long overnight opportunities to get outdoors, learn from nature, and develop as individuals. During the rest of the year, St. Joseph’s Youth Camp rents its facilities to various groups for retreats and other gatherings. The camp located 30 minutes southeast o

f Flagstaff, AZ, and just 2.5 hours north of Phoenix. Camp remains at mildly warm temperatures throughout the summer, which is the perfect temperature for all the fun planned activities! For over 70 years, we have been changing Arizona, one child, one generation at a time, in our mission to provide positive and impactful outdoor, traditional camp experiences for Arizona youth. Joseph’s Youth Camp has touched the lives of thousands of youth since its first summer. Every summer, our staff bring the magic of SJYC to life: the laughter, the learning, the songs, the s’mores, and the memories that our campers and CITs carry with them for years to come.

We’re looking for caring, responsible, and upbeat team members who want to make camp awesome for every kid who steps off the bus. If you’ve got a positive attitude, a “let’s make it happen” spirit, and a love for working with kids, we’d love to have you on our team.

Working at SJYC isn’t just a summer job: it’s a chance to make a difference, build lifelong friendships, and spend your days surrounded by pine trees, sunshine, and a whole lot of joy.

Join us for S’mores & Pours, a cozy camp gathering brewed with coffee, friends, crafts, and community 💚

We’re so excited to bring our camp community together before the holidays. Campers, families, CITs, alums, friends of camp, and even those who are new or considering camp this year, we’d love for you to join us. Come meet our team, see what camp is all about, enjoy some crafts, and reconnect (or connect for the first time!) with fellow camp friends.

💚Only $50 down is required to lock in your session — that applies to all programs, including CITs.
🩷 That first payment locks in our lowest price of the year + the $75 launch discount (ages 6–14). Once the launch window ends, that savings goes away.
💚 Everyone who registers during Launch — campers and CITs — gets our exclusive 2026 launch sticker.

Payment plans are available for all sessions and we’re happy to create custom payment plans, as needed.

We always say the days at camp are long, but the weeks are short… and somehow that feels more true every single year.

This summer was bursting at the seams with joy, from the first campfire to waving goodbye to the last bus ride home. The weeks flew by, but what we shared together will stick with us for a lifetime.

It’s hard to believe our 76th summer has already come and gone, but we know one thing for sure: the next one will be here before we know it. And when it comes, we’ll be right back where we belong — laughing, singing, and making more memories under the stars.

Here’s to camp, and to all of you who make it what it is 💚
