🚨BAND PARENTS AND FANS🚨
They did it! They did it! We’re so proud of the Vanguard for making it to finals! It’s hard for them to see us cheering in the stands while they perform, so Gwen’s mom had a fantastic idea to send the kids off in style! Join us at 8:50am to line up along Parkview Place to give them an epic send off. Bring signs, noise makers, family, friends, and wear your purple. The busses are supposed to depart at 9am, and our hope is that we can line the street with cheering supporters!

Also, come cheer them on at GCC while they make Valley Vista history!

Join us 1 week from today for Dysart Unified School District's BAND JAM! See all four high schools perform their 2025 marching shows in one place! 278 students, 4 directors, dozens of staff, and countless band parents have been working hard since July to make these award winning performances come to life. Come cheer on the student's as they showcase their months of hard work!

Hosted by Valley Vista High School 15550 N. Parkview Pl. Surprise, AZ 85374

Admission is FREE. Arrive early to get snacks from the concession stand and one of a kind Band Jam souvenirs. The performances will be in the football stadium (aka Marching Band Field!) and begin at 7pm.

Happy Friday Band Parents! It’s finally our time to shine! We need parent volunteers to help out at our first game tonight. PLEASE REPORT TO THE BAND ROOM BETWEEN 4 and 4:30pm. The band needs help with the following:
🎺Braiding hair
🥁Adjusting uniforms
🎷Setting up the band area in the stands
🎼Setting up drum major podiums

Come help our kids have the best first game ever! See you tonight. Let’s go Monsoon!

Calling all freshman & new members! We are holding two new camps this summer to begin incorporating new members into all of our performing instrumental ensembles. Below are times and dates for the camps, we are making these mandatory for an students planning on participating in the groups and festivals this year! If you have any questions, please reach out! Freshman Band Camp - July 7th & 8th (Monday & Tuesday) @ VVHS Band Room
