WARNING: Real footage of police K9 Deployed, along with foul language ‼️

On August 21st, at approximately 7:36pm,
Multiple 911 calls were received by the Glendale Police Department 911 Center, in reference to an adult male, attempting to stop motorist in the intersection of 75th Ave and Glendale Ave, while also threatening with a large knife.
Officers arrived on scene to find the adult male, in the intersection and still armed with the knife.
The adult male fled from officers, and then attempted to hide, while failing to comply with officers commands to surrender. At one point, the adult male attempted to cut his own neck, prior to tossing the knife a few feet away.
When the adult male continued to walk away, attempting to flee, towards crowded businesses, a police K9 was deployed.
The adult male was taken into custody.

Good job K9 Kratos for protecting the citizens of Glendale! 🙏💙
