At Sumner Daycare and Learning Center, we have been working hard to turn our dream of a new, all-inclusive playground into a reality. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, local businesses, and grant organizations, we have made tremendous progress!
💙 Our Fundraising Goal: $185,000

While we are excited about how far we have come, we want to share why reaching our fundraising goal is so important.
As a licensed childcare center, we must follow specific state regulations and safety requirements when it comes to our outdoor play spaces. Our playground project is about much more than adding new equipment. It is about creating a safe, accessible, and inclusive environment where children of all abilities can learn, play, and grow together.
There is also another important piece to our fundraising efforts that many may not realize.
Some of the grant funding we have worked so hard to secure comes with specific requirements, deadlines, and financial obligations. If we are unable to raise the necessary remaining funds and complete the project within those requirements, we could risk losing grant money that has already been awarded to us.
That means every dollar raised is important, not only to help us reach our goal but also to protect the funding we have already worked so hard to obtain.
We are incredibly grateful for the support we have received, but we still have $80,000 to raise to bring this project across the finish line!
