Just finished this afghan from a vintage pattern. I had been looking for this pattern for a while. I had the pattern when I was a teenager and lost it. Thank you Patricia Lauderdale for loaning the pattern to me.

This warmed my heart....3 generations crocheting together to make blankets for children. This is Sharon with her grand-daughter Terra and her daughter Sarah.

We had another great meeting today! These ladies worked their fingers to the bone. They labelled 303 blankets for children in need. Thanks to all the blanketeers that came out today!!

Registration for Scrappy Sewing with Patty opened today. Go to www.projectlinus.org to register. $20 donation will get you at least 7 patterns and possibly up to 10 patterns for scrappy quilts. When you register, designate your donation to a local chapter and type "North Central Alabama, Janice Noblett" in the donor scroll. The first pattern will come out in April, and you can start using up all those fabric scraps!! Go register now!! Happy quilting!
