SAYRE CAMP COMMUNITY CLEANUP & COOKOUT this Saturday
* Cleanup (8-11) * Cookout (11-12)
Large Dumpster will be at the community center for residents of Sayre Camp to use one day only.
* You can set out old furniture or any trash by the street in front of your house and volunteers will pick up this Saturday morning before 11:00am.
* Free Cookout will be at the community center for everyone at noon.
* Thank you to volunteers from Church H2O and from the community for your labor and your fellowship.

UPDATE - NEW DATE *MAY 30*

Sayre Hope, Church H2O, and community volunteers will host our annual spring workday and cookout. All volunteers welcome to help 8-12 with our cleanup. We will provide a rollback dumpster located at the community center this day for the residents of the camp to dump trash in. We will have tractors and trailers going throughout the neighborhood to help residents to load and haul off any trash and debris from yards. Help spread the word and begin gathering your debris to be picked up.

We invite everyone to join us at the community center at 11:00 to enjoy bbq and cookout with neighbors, friends, and volunteers.

*Volunteers for cleanup, please meet at the community center at 8:00am. Wear gloves.

We want to thank our Hope Recovery directors, Darrell and Sharon Pace for serving since October 2022 in our ministry at Sayre Camp. Tonight was their final meeting as they move on to serve in another ministry. Our Thursday night recovery class will be taking a summer break as we plan and organize for a new exciting recovery program this September. Meanwhile, we will be hosting a few events in the camp during the summer to strengthen the community. We had a wonderful group tonight and we are looking forward to all that God has for Sayre.

Church H2O left some 8lb bags of jumbo baking potatoes with Bubba Steve for anyone around the Sayre Camp that wants a bag to pick up at his house until they are gone.

Thank you to the students from Hope United Academy and workers from Next Step Storm ministry for helping some seniors in Sayre Camp and Graysville. They built a ramp for Mary, changed a window and began putting up siding for Bubba, pressure washed for another couple and cleaned up the yard for another widow. Thank you to Green Top BBQ for providing lunch. Thank you to ladies from Church H2O for providing desserts and serving the students. The HUA students also sang at H2O for an evening service. Special thanks to Monte at Next Step Storm for thinking of the needs in our Sayre community. Thanks to Next Step Storm and Church H2O and Sayre Hope for providing the materials.

This Thursday at 3:00pm we will have Thirteen Life Ministries, ROSS, Recovery Den, and Hope For Women Rehab at the Sayre Community Center to help people sign up for government services like food stamps and assessments for anyone considering rehab. We will serve a meal at 5:30 and have special testimonies at 6:00.
