Forever Patriots

Forever Patriots Building tiny homes for homeless ve Forever and Always Patriots started out as two different nonprofits with the same goal, to help veterans.

FOREVER AND ALWAYS PATRIOTS (501c) Karla Albertus and her amazing team, all masters in their fields, some are veterans, some are just very passionate about helping veterans, are building many opportunities for veterans. Always and Forever a Daddy's Girl was founded by two women carrying on the mission of their fathers to help homeless veterans. 1914 Patriot was formed 2 years ago by a woman also de

termined to help veterans in need. Both organizations decided to join forces knowing they could do more good together. Since merging in the first year Forever and Always Patriots clothed and provided hygiene products, blankets, hats and gloves to over 50 homeless veterans. We also provided them with a large Christmas dinner. Our goal is to build a series of tiny homes to temporarily house homeless veterans and veterans transitioning that need assistance getting back to civilian life. It will be self contained and there will be some training on site for job placement, along with numerous other programs designed to help our veterans return back home. And the veterans will also have a community garden that they will use to grow their own vegetables. We believe that this is the path that God has chosen for us to take and are all very dedicated to this mission. This is a nonprofit organization. None of our board members or volunteers get paid. All proceeds go directly into the fund for the veterans village.

The Army family is saddened to hear of the passing of Kenneth E. Stumpf, Medal of Honor recipient. He was 77.

On April 25, 1967, Spc. 4th Class Kenneth E. Stumpf was in Duc Pho, Vietnam, when his platoon came under heavy fire from well-fortified enemy bunkers. Three of his fellow servicemen fell wounded.

Ignoring the enemy fire concentrated on him, Stumpf left cover three times to carry each one back to friendly lines.

He then organized the remaining men to neutralize two enemy bunkers. Stumpf took on a third bunker by himself, despite machine gun fire directed on him, enabling the success of the mission and preventing further loss of American soldiers.

For his actions that day, Stumpf was presented the by President Lyndon B. Johnson on Sept. 19, 1968, in a White House ceremony.
