Dickinson ♥️

What an INCREDIBLE weekend!!!! As many of you know, this was our very last back-to-school shoe event of the season…our GRAND FINALE!!!! Approximately 235 (we lost count somewhere along the way) kids, teens & baby siblings received NEW sneakers and socks, thanks to YOU and your wonderful generosity!

So many of you have asked how we ended up so far away from our home base, and to be honest, we weren’t really sure how we were gonna’ make it work. This event location was new for us, and farther away than we typically go, so we reached out to some local service groups to come volunteer with us. We did have some of our Sugar Land crew join us, and for that we are SO grateful!!!! Thank you for making the trek.

Well, as you can see, it was ALL smiles from EVERYBODY. It was truly SO much fun!!

We owe a HUGE thank you to Amy Cmaidalka and the teachers, counselors, coaches, ancillary staff AND families of Dickinson ISD for inviting us out. What an honor to serve you and your community!

We would also like to thank the Millis Development & Construction for their wonderful donation! We are SO very grateful to you and your employees! Thank you for believing in this mission!!

And, last but certainly not least, we want to thank NCL Friendswood Chapter, for saying YES!!!! I reached out as a last-minute plea for volunteers, and they showed up. Thank you!! We loved serving this incredible community with you!

After this weekend, and over the last 5 weeks, we’ve blessed 2,013 local students with NEW sneakers AND socks!!!! Whew! That’s AMAZING!!!!!!

We hope you continue to give, so that we can too!

With love….

The Grand Finale ♥️

Gearing up for our last back-to-school event this year. We have received so many INCREDIBLE sneaker donations over the past few months, but we still have to shop for sizes that we need to make sure that our inventory is ready for the next event. We shop YEAR ROUND for shoes!!!

Thank you SO much to each & every one of you who have spent your hard earned money on shoes & socks to make sure that children walk into school on their first day, week, month & year with their heads held high, confidence booming, feet comfortable, and ready to learn & PLAY!

We appreciate YOU!!!!!

We are also SO grateful to those of you who prefer to fundraise and/or donate money instead. We want you to know that 100% of your tax exempt gift will be used to purchase NEW shoes & socks for thousands of local, underserved students. We can’t do this without you. Thank you for your continued support, faith & LOVE for our mission.

We love y’all!

Patrice’s Kids ♥️

Our 6th event was another first for us!! We proudly partner with my dear friend & her wonderful organization, Patrice’s Kids, every Christmas!!! But this year was our very first back-to-school partnership with her, and it was AWESOME! 150+ children received backpacks, school supplies, NEW sneakers AND socks! Just look at those smiles!!!!

As always, we are so grateful for our wonderful volunteers & donors, who make events like these SO incredibly special for every child & family in attendance! Thank you for making a difference! These kids are going to walk into school on the first day, week, month, AND year with their head held high!!! The shoes they receive are SO much more than JUST shoes…new shoes are confidence, acceptance, excitement, joy, self-esteem, focus, love & HOPE.

It’s everything.

AMAZING ♥️

This was just ONE day of donations!!! I missed getting a pic of my friend, Dawn & the donations from her company, so I combined hers AND the donations from St Laurence in this pic! Thank you, Dawn Jones, and the employees at LESCO Lighting, for your INCREDIBLE gift!! They donated 61 pairs of NEW sneakers, along with the 109 pairs of sneakers from St Laurence! Collectively, we received over 200 pairs of socks! What a HUGE blessing for the children we serve!

Thank YOU!!!!
