This past weekend , we celebrated freedom, resilience, and the traditions that continue to shape our communities.
Juneteenth reminds us that culture is more than history. It's something we carry forward through our stories, our music, our movement, and the spaces we create together.
For more than two decades, Chiku Awali has been committed to preserving and sharing African and African diasporic traditions through dance, drumming, and cultural education.
As we honor Juneteenth, we invite you to continue that celebration with us on July 26 at the 23rd Annual African Dance Extravaganza.
Join us for an afternoon of movement, music, learning, and community!
