Now is a great time to finalize your year end charitable giving!

💡 It’s RMD Season — Give Smarter with Your IRA!

If you’re 73 or older, you’re likely required to take a Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) from your IRA before year's end. Did you know you can make that distribution directly to a charitable fund at our foundation (excluding Donor Advised Funds) and reduce your taxable income?

In addition, a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) allows you to give up to $108,000 each year directly from your IRA to a qualified nonprofit.

We’re thrilled to share that we’ve already raised over $60,000 thanks to our exceptional community members and generous local foundations. Your support is making a real impact.

So far, we’ve granted out $4,500 to pantries in Orange, Sullivan and Rockland Counties — with many more grants on the way. 🍎✨
