There are people in our lives that frustrate us to no end. "If only they would change! If only they would stop doing xyz, everything would be better." The truth, however, is that we cannot do anything to change anyone besides ourselves. It may be frustrating, but maybe it is time to accept who this person is. They have shown you what to expect time and time again. Their behavior has been consistent. Stop expecting them to show up differently, it will only lead to resentment.

Procrastination often comes from fear. This could be fear of failure, or even sometimes a fear of success. That may sound surprising--who would fear success? But it is actually quite common. Success means more responsibility and higher expectations from those around you. Success means there is more to lose if you slack off. And ultimately, success means change, and often we prefer the comfort and safety of the familiar even if it is not an ideal situation.
