We’re continuing our counselor introductions with our fourth-year counselors! Their experience, leadership, and enthusiasm make them an incredible part of our camp team. They consistently step up as group leaders, help keep activities running smoothly, and play a huge role in creating a fun and memorable week for our campers.

We can always count on them to connect with kids, support fellow counselors, and help make camp an unforgettable experience. We can’t wait for everyone to meet them tomorrow! 🌞🏕️💙

We’re kicking off our staff introductions with two of our returning counselors!

These counselors have been part of the Camp Fort Hill team for the past four summers, and this year marks their 5th year as counselors. Their experience, leadership, and enthusiasm have helped create countless camp memories for our campers over the years.

We’re grateful to have dedicated staff who continue to come back each summer to make camp a fun, safe, and memorable experience for everyone.

🏕 Ages: 7–12
💲 Cost: $125 per week, per camper

We are SO thrilled to be just around the corner from Camp Fort Hill Summer Day Camp 2026! 🌲☀️🏕️

Our Day Camp Director Extraordinairah Sarah (we like to have fun here 😜) will be reaching out to families soon with additional details regarding camper week assignments, transportation expectations, important reminders, and everything you’ll need to know before your camper’s big adventure begins!

In the meantime, here’s a helpful daily packing checklist for campers:

🎒 Daily Camp Essentials:
• Backpack for belongings
• Refillable water bottle
• Swimsuit (campers are welcome to wear it to Camp or change at Camp)
• Clean towel
• Comfortable shoes for hiking & outdoor activities
• Water shoes or shoes/sandals that can get wet
• Sunscreen
• Bug spray
• Sweatshirt or light jacket for cool mornings/weather changes

⭐ Optional Helpful Items:
• Small personal first aid kit
• Sunglasses
• Hat or visor
• Lightweight rain poncho/rain jacket

We also highly recommend labeling personal belongings whenever possible!

‼️PLEASE NOTE: CFH Summer Day Camp is intended to help youth unplug and connect with nature and their peers; please leave all electronics and phones at home if at all possible. Our Day Camp Director and staff are equipped to communicate with parents in the event of an emergency! 📵

We truly cannot wait to welcome your campers back to Camp Fort Hill for another summer filled with nature, laughter, friendship, exploration and muddy memories. 🌿

There’s just something special about celebrating life’s biggest moments surrounded by nature, good people and beautiful views.🌲 Camp Fort Hill has a limited number of weekday and weekend dates still available for graduation parties this summer for the Class of 2026! If you haven't found your perfect party venue just yet, consider Camp Fort Hill, where you'll enjoy wooded backdrops, comfortable outdoor gatherings and lakeside access. Our historic camp property offers an affordable and memorable space for your grad’s big day!

🌿 Camp Fort Hill PSA: even though our hiking trails are beautiful and the foliage is vibrant and full of life, not every plant out here wants to be your friend. 😅

As you explore the trails, look for birds, take in the fresh air and embrace your inner wilderness expert, keep an eye out for poison ivy, poison oak and poison sumac. Nothing ruins Camp memories faster than spending the next week looking like you wrestled a bush and lost. 🌱🤕

Quick reminder:
🍃 “Leaves of three?” Let them be!
🌳 Stay on marked trails whenever possible
🧼 Wash hands, shoes, and gear after hiking
🚫 Don’t touch mystery plants just because they look cool

Nature is awesome, but some plants believe in personal space. Let’s keep our adventures itchy-free and safe this season at Camp Fort Hill! 🏕️
