A small group of volunteers from area churches joined together with the idea of a new ministry in the village of Centreville.... one to reach out to those who are in need of a helping hand, by opening a free store. The mission of Building Hope Free Store is “to operate a volunteer community-based center that offers free clothing and household items to persons of need, while affirming the basic wo

rth of each individual.”

All items obtained through Building Hope Free Store (BHFS), BHFS's page, or community members who have contacted BHFS with items to donate, are available on an “as is” or “as available” basis. BHFS does not guarantee the quality or safety of any items, and use of these items are solely at the user’s own risk. If BHFS connects two parties to coordinate a pick-up on their own, both parties should either have someone home with them or accompanying them to the pick-up.
