It was time for Lilith to get her checkup so off we went. Luckily I got a harness (after she backed out of her collar on a walk) because she was so nervous being in the car and then wasn't having the waiting room at Snowflake. Doc said she was a little chubby (the whole house is now lol) so we will try to get a pound off of her slowly. She is active and runs all around so the summer is a good time to help reduce her by a bit. She is totally healthy, got her updated rabies so we are all good here. Despite being nervous everyone knows what a doll she is. I am so grateful she is part of our family. Love you Lily. 🥰😇

Our Lilith turned 1 year old on Saturday. We will never understand why some dogs end up being surrendered but their loss is definitely our gain. She came in when we needed healing after losing our Ariel and has filled our hearts with happiness. No one will ever take Ariels place but Lily is so full of love we have found a reason to smile again with her as part of the pack. Thank you RDR NYC for trusting us with yet another precious baby. 🥰

Does anyone have any experience with cooling mats? My guys "eat and chew on" any beds I buy so can't be toxic. It seems most are made in China too. Any experience anyone has had is appreciated. I think Kevin would like one and they seem like you can lay them over the beds so I would get enough so everyone would have one. We have central air so house is pretty cool but they seem a nice addition. Thanks in advance. (PS, this looks exactly like my Luca 🥰)

Hooray good news. Chula is finally home and she’s safe and sound. She is doing well, but will be going back to the Vet. Owner got a call that someone had turned her into Fairfield animal control this morning.  Welcome home, baby. Your mom was so worried, now she can finally sleep. Thanks go out to DGRV, Melissa and Jill for hanging posters.

Kevin is relieved that his abcess has finally "ruptured". He is on a 2 week course of antibiotics now. He can enjoy his weekend like the rest of us without "backend" inspections. Thanks for all the prayers. 😎🤓

Don't let size fool you. Daisy, (our almost 13 year old senior doxi mix girl who came with an egg sized bladder stone) occasionally goes up to NH with Will to see his Dad. Chris got a yellow Lab named Gabe that is huge and all puppy. Daisy reminds him who is large and in charge. She loves her weekend getaways and we love giving her some time to chill in the woods. 🥰
