ā¤ļø Another rainy Sunday in CTā€¦but we have some news to brighten your day!

STEVIE NICKS aka CARDI B HAS FOUND HER FOREVER FAMILY!

Finding a loving home for a pit bull can sometimes feel like searching for a needle in a haystack. But the right families are out there, and STEVIE is proof!

This lucky girl had so many angels in her corner throughout her journey. Her story wasnā€™t a straight path to happily ever after. She was found wandering along an exit ramp in New Haven, and thankfully, Zach was the one who spotted her.

Not everyone would have stopped, scooped her up, gotten her to a veterinarian, and paid for the life-saving emergency surgery she required. And not everyone would have opened their home to foster her while we searched for her perfect match.

We are so grateful for our amazing network of supporters who share our posts, spread the word and help deserving dogs like STEVIE find their safe place to land. It truly takes a village!

This meatball is stunning in personā€¦anyone who loves the stocky bullies will love her!

A little over two years ago, this special family welcomed MAX into their family. ā¤ļø

Heartbreakingly, they had to say goodbye to this sweet senior boy last week, but we cannot thank them enough for stepping up and giving MAX the dignified, adventurous and comfortable life he deserved.

Not many people are willing to open their homes to an older dog. And when MAXā€™s owner passed away, there were no family members or friends willing to take him.

We were so lucky to find this amazing family, who not only embraced Max, but who Max himself felt at home with from day one.

He quickly put his adoptive family on his scheduleā€¦letting them know when he wanted to be walked, when he needed a treat, and most beautiful of allā€¦becoming the best friend of their resident senior dog.

Thank you, Dave and Alex, for giving MAX what every senior dog deservesā€¦a loving home, comfort, companionship, adventure and the chance to spend his final years knowing he was loved.

We are forever grateful that MAX found you. RIP MAX ā¤ļø

ā€¼ļø Still waiting for a loving hospice adopter to come alongā€¦

Special thank you to Kara Centrella for fostering this sweet girlā€¦she already has multiple senior dogs and wishes she could keep her, but she just canā€™tā€¦but she is getting the royal treatment as we wait for that extra special adopter to come along!

Heartbreakingly, after losing her loving owners to Alzheimerā€™s and passing away, MISSY finds herself in her in need of a forever/hospice. adopter.

She has a condition called protein-loss enteropathy as well as early stage kidney disease. While she is not in pain, she does drink and urinate frequently (often accidents in the house), and unfortunately itā€™s not curable. She is on a prescription kidney diet, fish oil and blood pressure meds.

She is just the sweetest thing, and again the vet does not believe she is in any pain.

ā¤ļø Meet MISSY!

MISSY is a beautiful senior Yorkie/Dachshund mix who is 11 years old and weighs around 18 lbs.

MISSY came from a loving home of two senior citizens, one of whom has advanced Alzheimerā€™s. Tragically, the husband passed away and the wife who suffers from Alzheimerā€™s did not realize it until days later when a visitor came over. A kind, selfless neighbor stepped up for MISSY to be sure she would be safe and cared for while she searched for rescue help.

While MISSY has experienced the heartbreaking loss of the only family she is always knownā€¦she has also had many angels in her corner.

She is now safe and sound in foster care, is freshly groomed and has received all the medical care needed in order to make her available for adoption and ready to find a forever home to cherish her.

MISSY is low-key, friendly with all people and is great with other dogs. She has settled in flawlessly into foster care.

We think a nice calm household would suit her best as that is what sheā€™s accustomed to, but she is very adaptable and is overall a very happy girl!
