Connecticut is home to one of 6 schools in the country who educate and train Radiologist Assistants(RA’s). RA’s are advanced practitioners who serve an important role in the radiology department. Time to get this legislation passed so healthcare systems across the country can use their services!

Momentum is building! This week, the Medicare Access to Radiology Care Act (MARCA) was introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives (H.R.9984), advancing bipartisan efforts to improve access to high-quality patient care and fully recognize the value of Registered Radiologist Assistants. This past Friday at the 2026 CSRT College Bowl and Job Fair, Molly Dickerman from the University of Hartford, was awarded the 2026 CSRT Student Involvement Award.

This award is given out to the student who
has demonstrated superior leadership skills and active participation in the community and/or profession.

Molly was a ASRT Student to Leadership participant and helped out the CSRT at our 2025 Annual Meeting. Molly has big plans for continuing participation in the CSRT and in our Profession.
