A huge thank you to everyone who came out and spent the day with us on the farm for our August Volunteer Day! 🌻💚

We also want to give a special thanks to Chantelle (Chef TelleLace / Chantelle Faison) for cooking our volunteer lunch, and showing us how to turn what we harvested into a delicious meal we can create at home!

You’re invited to a beautiful afternoon of community, impact, and flavor at Edible Schoolyard Stockton’s Farm-to-Table Celebration Fundraiser! 💚💙

Please join us on Sunday, November 1, 2026, at the historic Lindley House. This special gathering supports our mission of community health and well-being by providing access to food, land, and learning experiences for students and families.

During this special event, Edible Schoolyard Stockton will honor Ana Vera, Executive Director of Art Expressions of San Joaquin, in gratitude for entrusting ESY with continuing this long-standing community tradition, formerly known as Souper Supper.

Event Schedule
🕐 Cocktail Hour: 1:00 PM–2:00 PM
🍽️ Farm-to-Table Meal, Entertainment & Program: 2:00 PM–4:00 PM

Ticket Information
🌱 August Early Bird
• $65 per person
• Full table of 8: $500 (the only way to reserve seating together and includes one bottle of w**e)

🍂 September 1 – October 31
• $75 per person
• Full table of 8: $600 (includes one bottle of w**e and reserved seating; available September 1–October 19)

Every ticket and donation directly supports our programming to educate and inspire healthy behaviors throughout our community. We hope you’ll join us in turning a shared love for the land into vital opportunities for Stockton’s children, families, and farmers.

Spend the day on the farm enjoying organic produce giveaways, music, farm tours, community partners, art activities, games, and fun for the whole family! Pack a picnic or bring a chair, and relax in our green space while connecting with neighbors and celebrating the people, places, and partnerships that help our community grow.

Join us Saturday, August 8th to help prepare the community farm for our next free farm festival on August 15th! Spend the morning volunteering, learning new gardening skills alongside our California Climate Action Corps Fellows, and making a positive impact in our community. 💚

During July’s volunteer day, our community learned the technique of seed saving! 💙💚

Seed saving is an important part of sustainable agriculture. Through collecting and saving seeds, we can preserve healthy plants, reduce waste, and grow future harvests! Did you know that inside many fruits and vegetables are dozens, even hundreds, of seeds? Those seeds can be dried, saved, and planted the following growing season.

This season we’re saving, and giving out, seeds from new crops on the farm like spotted African beans and hibiscus! 🫘🌺

Thank you to everyone who volunteered with us! Join us August 8 for our next Volunteer Day, more details to come.

We’ll be have a donation produce stand for our watermelons this Saturday! 🍉

Stop by between 8 - 11am, each watermelon will be $15 and can weigh anywhere 15-30lbs. All donations go back to our community farm!! 💚💙
