CSHA - California State Horsemen's Association California State Horsemen's Association (CSHA) serves the horse community of California by providing a unified front to address equestrian related issues.

CSHA offers:
- trail advocacy
- youth programs
- education
- amateur competitive programs If competitive events and programs are your interest, we offer these programs: Drill Team, Endurance, English Western, Gymkhana, Obstacle Challenge, Parade and Trail Trials. If you are interested in educational programs, we offer Horsemastership and Royalty programs. If recreational riding is more your style, we offer Equestrian Trails Patrol, Trails and Trail Riders Awards Program (TRAP) programs.

🚨Breaking News: The PRCA ProRodeo and The Women's Professional Rodeo Association have officially announced the postponement of the 2025 National Finals Breakaway Roping, PRCA Permit Challenge, and Benny Binion Bucking Horse Sale. The events, originally scheduled for December 2–4 at the South Point Arena, will not take place due to the ongoing EHV/EHM outbreak and newly issued Nov. 21 biosecurity guidelines. New dates and venues are currently being evaluated.

Come and join us for our annual Year End Finals Horse Show presented by the California State Horsemen’s Association. The event takes place at the beautiful settings of the Brookside Equestrian Center in Elk Grove, CA.

The public is welcome to come and watch as horse and riders compete in English, Western, Reining and Ranch Horse. Admission is free for spectators.

Classes are offered in Halter, Showmanship, Leadline, English, Western, Ranch, & Reining. And for all ages and experience; leadline, juniors, seniors, amateurs and open.

Medals & Ribbons are presented for class placings, in addition to 14 Daily High Point award categories. There are stalls & camp sites available. Our banquet social events take place after competition on Friday & Saturday Nights. Everyone is invited to attend, tickets required.
