Currently we are only open to receive donations by appointment or during the hours listed. We hope to be operational by Thanksgiving.

Today I picked up one of my clients from her camp to start the process of detox off fentanyl. We tried about a year ago and she wasn’t ready. She is ready now. We were driving back to her camp right now and we were talking about the officers that she encounters during displacements. One officer that always treats people with the respect and dignity we should treat everyone with is Officer Robert Johnson aka Officer Bobo. He is retiring soon and she said her retirement present to him is her getting sober and off the streets. I’m so happy that we have officers working with our homeless community that are respected enough to want to prove they can change. That all those hours, days and years poured into encouraging the people to change actually reach their heart and let them know they are cared for.

Shower Day at the Jacob Mendez resource center with Showered With Love….

We provide about 35 showers every Thursday. We help hundreds of people every month with so many different services. We have established a safe place in this community for people at their lowest to come and feel welcomed and have a sense of peace.

We were just notified that the property that we are occupying is going to be sold and our goal is to be able to find a way to purchase this property.
