I cannot put into words how happy my heart feels when I see this amazing team of people go out into the streets fishing for men and women to pull out of their trap of darkness. This organization is 100% the people’s. Every person that comes in these doors or meets one of staff or volunteers, say they instantly feel like family and they feel welcome and comfortable. That is what we strive for. I am so proud of the work they do I would not trade them for the world.

Kajukenbo night! We adjusted the schedule a bit for the younger kids. They have the 6-7 pm block of time and the older kids/adults are at 7-8:30.

We DESPERATELY need mens clothing and shoes. We are serving more and more individuals in need. If you are able to donate please reach out to 209-451-3845 or drop off at the Jacob Mendez resource center located at 326 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. in Stockton Monday through Friday 9 to 5.

My sweet old grumpy man Shawny Poo. I just got a call from his landlord that Shawn has passed. We were able to get off the streets and housed for a couple years but with so many medical challenges. He finally lost the battle. I love you so much Shawn and I know riding with me, seeing the miracles that God has done in so many lives, you started to believe. I love you so much and I know you are at peace with Jesus.

We will have a memorial at Showered With Love’s Tuesday site next week.

Red Rabbit Advocacy would like to whole heartedly thank Habitat for Humanity is San Joaquin County for their generous donation to continue to build our vision for our unhoused, recovery and reentry community. As you can tell by my face I was shocked and so grateful for their generous contribution. This speaks to the hard work that my team puts forward every single day. I couldn’t do it without them. I’m so proud of the Red Rabbit Family today. We served over 60 people today at the center. Showers, clothing, food, resources, good company, connection to outpatient services and sober living. Evalyn your planning and the team’s support to bring it all together was a beautiful thing to see. You all truly are an inspiration to so many people. I love you and I am grateful for each one of you. Gods got us and we will continue to be of service until He says we are done.
