At REACH of Stockton - Public Health Advocates partnerships are at the heart of everything we do 🤝💙

We’re proud to highlight one of our incredible partners, Genesis Legacy, led by the amazing Nesha.

Genesis Legacy was created with purpose. As Nesha shared:
✨ “to invest in girls and young women teaching them strength, discipline, confidence, and identity early. It’s about creating a foundation so they grow into powerful, secure women before the world tries to define them.”

Through our partnership, we’ve come together to support Girlz Tyme, a FREE workout experience for girls ages 8–18 💪✨
More than just fitness, Girlz Tyme creates a safe, uplifting space where girls can come together, be active, build sisterhood, and feel truly seen, supported, and empowered.

Over the past year, REACH teens have taken action by helping improve the environment around them, including installing a bike rack at Genesis Fitness & Wellness to encourage more physical activity and access 🚲

This is what community looks like.
This is what collaboration feels like.
This is how we build healthier futures together.

👉 Follow Nesha Taylor to stay connected so you don’t miss the next event for our youth!

🌽 Important Update for San Joaquin County Residents 🥫

📢 November CalFresh Benefits Update
Due to the federal government shutdown, the U.S. Department of Agriculture is not sending funds to states for November CalFresh (SNAP) benefits.
👉 This means counties cannot add money to EBT cards until federal funding is restored.
✅ You can continue using your existing benefits as usual.

If you need immediate food assistance, visit cafoodbanks.org/find-food to locate your nearest food bank.
More info available at cdss.ca.gov.
